Vegas Baby!!!

Hello All,

Continuing our travels we decided to test our luck and made a trip to the Sin City.

I love watching people and Vegas was the busiest I have seen so far...

I liked chilling out at the Bellagio.

Picked up a lot of compliments from passers-by at the Venetian....

I checked out what all the hype about Wynn was...

We went to Rainforest cafe for dinner but the spooky sounds freaked me out.

Ammamma, Tata and Pinni even went to watch the Grand Canyon. I passed as it was too hot.

I used my cute smile to sneak in to the casinos .... How much did I make?

Well... what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas... right?

My trip to Hollywoodland - Part Two

Hello everyone,

Whats a trip to LA without a beauty contest? I entered myself in a baby contest when my family was busy sleeping. The judges were so impressed by my diaper consumption, they crowned me "Miss Diaper Queen 2008".

Enjoying my newly found celebrity status, the next day I was all decked up and ready for sunny San Diego.

We went to Seaworld to meet Shamu the whale. Shamu was pretty acrobatic and some of his tricks reminded me of my own back-flips that I do in bed.

I also enjoyed the dolphin show very much.

I think my family has finally gotten used to traveling with a celebrity like me. Notice how all of them wear dark glasses to disguise themselves?

When the rumor finally spread that there was a new celebrity in the park that day, people tried their best to find her. But I threw them off by pointing in the other direction.
After a close shave at the park, we went to Souju Pinni and Uma Shankar Babai's house. Souju Pinni was busy with her exams and I gave a her a few pointers for her course project.

Then it was time to meet the TROJANS. I heard a lot about them from Pinni and wanted to check them out for myself. We went for Pinni's graduation ceremony.

It was a proud moment for all of us.

I liked the trojan band and added my own chorus by screaming. They sent Pinni to stop me from stealing the show but it was to no avail(as Pinni's expression suggests).

My trip to Hollywoodland - Part One

Hello everyone,

After being bored with local visits, I finally decided to venture on a longer trip.

So, I boarded my first flight from San Jose to Los Angeles.

I was very well behaved on the plane, slept through most of it and had my beverage(no prizes for guessing what I ordered). I took Mom and Dad along as they dont seem to have much to do at work.

I reached Peddamma's place and celebrated Mother's day there. The sign on the wall was made by Akhilesh annayya. I met my little brother Abhinav and taught him a thing or two about being naughty.

The next day we were off to Universal Studios.

I was certainly the youngest visitor in most shows. I enjoyed the studio tour, was not at all scared at the special effects tour(and was staring at the screen most of the time.)

I could not go on any roller coasters though, but vowed to conquer them next time, once I am big enough.

I enjoyed meeting Dora and Curious George.

I loved meeting Shrek so much I almost tried to disguise myself as Princess Fiona.

But I think it was the ears that gave me away :-)

It was a wonderful day at the Universal Studios and all of us had a real blast.

Love,

Diya.

Living it up

It was a typical friday night and I was chilling out in my swing.

Once I woke up, I felt like doing something fun. I scratched my head thinking of things to do.

Then I suggested to amma that we go out for dinner(with my finger pointing to the door and a menacing expression on my face that almost said "Take me out or else...")

We all went to Santana Row for dinner. I behaved very well through the entire evening only waking up to eat.

You must be wondering where I was in the picture below. Well, Daddy was busy getting us a table at the restaurant so I had to take this picture.... hence...

Thanks for checking back and you all take care while I contemplate my next move.

Lots of love

My trip to the beach

Hello everyone,

Pinni came to visit me last month and we all headed off to celebrate the onset of spring with a trip to sunny Santa Cruz. I was as usual all decked up and ready for the occasion.

Our first stop was at "Mystery Spot".

Tata, ammamma and Pinni took some interesting photos although I dont find this place that mysterious.

I already know that its a result of the effects of forced perspective, optical adaptation, and certain visual illusions in combination with the steep gradient of the site. If only I could talk.....

We then headed off to Santa Cruz boardwalk and chilled on the beach.

The weather was perfect for some fries, coke and a roll in the sand.

I cant wait for summer to get here when I can play a lot longer at the beach...

Lots of love

Home Sweet Home

Hello everyone,

First of all, I would like to thank all of you for your blessings. It really encouraged the author in me to provide you with more updates.

I am slowly getting used to being home. I am still on Indian Standard Time and somehow can never understand why no one wants to play with me when I am awake.

Mom and Dad take turns at feeding me and I dont always like to drink milk. I mean, how much can you have of the same thing... day and night.. We babies would like some variety too :-)

Mom and Dad performed some ritual at home on my 13th day. I found it kinda cool until they lit the fire and I had to hide under my blanket.

I dressed up in traditional attire too and I was put in my cradle... I like being rocked in it..

I am having fun at home but I am kinda getting bored now and would like to venture out to see the world. Let me ponder on how I can convince my parents to take me out.

Meanwhile, you all take care and keep updating the comments.

Lots of Love,

Diya.
